Venture Norway
Client: Venture Norway – a product manual for the tourism industry in Norway
Work: logo, book cover, content layout, icons
Tools: Illustrator, InDesign
Venture Norway is a comprehensive guide published as both a hardback and an e-book, created to showcase the country’s most inspiring travel experiences. The cover features a northern lights landscape, immediately setting the tone of wonder and exploration that defines Norway.
The logo combines a map pin and stylized antlers, merging navigation with nature while subtly forming the letter V for Venture. This simple yet layered design captures both the adventure and heritage of Norwegian travel.
The brand creation itself was my idea. The manual originally had a generic layout with no design for the cover or even a proper title. I proposed turning it into a full brand, developing a logo and visual identity that transformed the publication into something striking. The result attracted strong attention at exhibitions, both from existing clients and new leads.
Inside, the manual uses rounded elements, soft tones and clean layouts that feel welcoming while keeping focus on the travel companies featured. I also designed a full icon system to categorize activities, helping readers quickly find what interests them most.
The result is a brand identity and guide that feel both practical and aspirational. Venture Norway presents information with clarity while evoking the beauty and spirit of exploring Norway, giving travelers a tool that feels as inspiring as the journeys it promotes.
